Born in Queens, NY in 1942, I spent my first five years living with my mother, grandmother, aunt, and great-grandfather in Queens.
My father returned from WW II and we moved to Somers, NY, where I attended Somers Central School from K through 12.
Graduating from HS in 1960, I went to College at University of Colorado, and promptly flunked out.
After serving in the US Army for three years, I married my HS sweetheart, Peg Erickson; unfortunately that marriage wasn't successful, and we divorced after two years.
For eight years, I managed a hippie coffee house in Denver, sold very high-end audio equipment, and ultimately decided to finally pursue my college education in Fall 1974.
This time, more motivated, I finished a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and went on to complete a masters degree in EE at MIT.
I was ill suited to being a working engineer, and after a few jobs, I taught Electrical Engineering at both University of Colorado and at Metropolitan State College of Denver from 1984 until retiring in 2003 - BEST DAMNED JOB OF MY LIFE!!!
Now I have resettled in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico where I have been living for four years.
In May 2022, I met my wife, Taly, and we have been living together since June 2022, and married since June 2023.
