Bruce was an MD and a close family friend of my own dear friend, Walter Czech.
Bruce was one of the more interesting people whom I was fortunate enough to know.
He worked his way through medical school playing grand Wurlitzer organs in movie theaters during that period when such were a primary entertainment of the working class (1930s).
He was so enamored of these amazing theater organs that he arranged to buy one of them from a theater which was being either converted or demolished (I don’t know).
This album documents Bruce’s project to renovate this priceless instrument, and return it to original new (even better than new) shape.
It became the centerpiece around which Bruce build his amazing house in a southern suburb of Denver
