Kate was an integral part of the folk who comprised the “Detroit Street House”, an urban commune which stayed together from 1966 until 1979.
She was a good friend to the community and to me in particular.
Kate suffered from manic depression episodes and took her own life in the midst of her last depressive episode.
I was very lucky to have her as part of my live during her last five years.
