Taly and Wilbur had their first date on June 18, and both of us admitted that the first dance felt pretty damned good, and we began dating somewhat regularly.
After Wilbur spent three wasted weeks in Denver in July, Taly maintainted "formal" residence at her apartment on Cielito Lindo. However, when Wilbur returned from Denver, the two of us were staying together all the time.
Sometime in late August or early September, we began living together full time, and had committed to being a couple. Wow!
Ain't love wonderful?
Taly departed for Australia, and I will join her there in early December. Meanwhile, I will continue to take advantage of all that my adopted home of San Miguel has to offer. This weekend the center of town was awash with celebrations of Dia de Muertos.

I am told that during the rainy season, the streets run like rivers for one to two hours most afternoons.
This year, the rain was not as regular, but when it did rain it made up for it in ferocity and duration. The development in which I have my house is directly across the street from an arroyo (stream bed), which has been running quite high this year. We had a scare of some flood potential on the night of September 16. Here's are some videos of the street flooding in and near our development:

The furniture I bought from Adriana Rousselon has been delivered, and I am finally able to move into my home. I still have no appliances, so I will be "camping out" until these are delivered.
Today, I closed on the purchase of my new home, and began the process of getting utilities in my name, ordering and installing appliances and furniture, and obtaining cell phone service and internet connection (a royal pain in the ass).
